Hours and Dates

School Hours:
4th-6th 8:00-2:25 (Tuesday 1:32)
7th & 8th Arts Program students 8:00-3:35 (Tuesday 2:30)
7th & 8th Core Program students 9:00-3:35 (Tuesday 2:30)

  • Back to School Nights:
    • August 26 GRADES 4/5/6: Back to School Night 5:30pm-7:30pm
    • August 27 GRADES 7/8: Back to School Night 5:30pm-7:30pm

School Supplies

While most teachers will have individualized requests for supplies, all children should come prepared with this basic list to get them started:

  • 3-ring three inch binder
  • college ruled lined paper
  • 6 pocket folders that can act as dividers and be used for each class
  • pencils (at least 6)
  • blue or black pens (2-3)
  • red pens (3)
  • erasers

*Please remember that these items may need to be replenished frequently.

Parent Coffee Hour
Each month we will feature a topic of interest to our families. Please join us at this relaxed and informal gathering to share ideas, ask questions, and learn strategies to improve your child's success at school! Meeting dates 
6th Grade Camp
Camp is March 21-25, 2016. If you're interested in 6th grade camp for your child, a deposit and complete paperwork will reserve your space. Registration is now open online! Please click here for more information.

  • Washington DC Trip - Spring 2016

  • New York Broadway Trip for 2015-16 7th and 8th graders
    There is an informational meeting for parents on Thursday, March 5th, for next year's 7th and 8th grade Broadway trip. If your child is interested, please plan on attending. The meeting will be held in room 28. We have limited space available for the trip, scheduled for October of 2015. 

    Explore America is the company that organizes our DC trips for our 8th graders.  They are a very reputable company and have been doing this for years. Staff members act as chaperones for the trip. There is a 6:1 ratio.
